Join Our Cooperative

Are you looking for a place to showcase your high quality artwork? Do you enjoy actively engaging with the public about your art practice and the work of others? Do you enjoy working cooperatively with other local artists?

We are currently looking for new members, working in a wide range of mediums (except jewelry, illustrations, and paintings - these categories are full).

The Blackberry Artist's Society is always interested in meeting potential new members who have a keen interest in supporting the vision, activities and operations of our local artists' cooperative.

If you feel your work and skills would be suitable for our organization and gift shop, we recommend that you visit the Blackberry Gift Shop in person to take a look around and ask for an application package from the member on shift in the shop. You may also download an application package here.

Once you have reviewed the application form, policies and procedures, we would be happy to schedule a jury date to review your application.

The jury meets each month February through August. Email the Membership Coordinator at basmembership@outlook.com to schedule an appointment.

Please remember to read all documents, understand how our Co-operative works and bring recent pieces of your original artwork with you to the Jury Appointment.
