Greta Smith
Greta Smith comes from a background of Floral Design and has worked in the field for over 28 years. Born in Vancouver B.C, she lived and worked for many years in Toronto. Returning to the Lower Mainland in 2009, she was awed by the forests and wild places of the West Coast as if seeing them for the first time. This was the inspiration that led her to create artwork with mosses, bark, driftwood, ferns, and fungi. Her work has been described as “looking at the floor of the forest”. The materials used in her pieces are preserved and dried to retain their colour and texture for years to come and are ethically sourced. She now lives and works in beautiful Port Coquitlam, B.C. Custom work is welcomed.
