Born in Ontario, I grew up in Petawawa and spent my time between the Ottawa River and Algonquin Park.
Later, living in Toronto, I found myself travelling back “home” and to the Bancroft and Peterborough areas on weekends. I walked the woods and spent time on the many lakes in the area.
As a child, time spent with my grandfather learning to identify trees, plants and animals nurtured my love of all things outdoors in the bush.
I moved to B.C. more than 30 years ago and frequently travel to Alberta. The mountains, trees, rocks and rivers bring me great joy and these I paint.
I have been commissioned to paint pets and special pieces. My works hang in B.C., AB, and the USA with several awards received in Alberta.
I work in acrylic, oil, encaustic and watercolor. Every piece brings me not only great pleasure but new learning experiences.
