I am a Painter and Fine Art Printmaker. I have painted all my life and upon leaving High School, I earned the Brewster Award to study at the Banff School of Fine Arts. When I married, I followed my Engineer husband around the country teaching Art and working on a Fine Art Degree at the Universities of Saskatchewan and Alberta. I finally ended up at the Vancouver School of Art taking Printmaking, graduating with Honours and then a year of Post Graduate work at the new Emily Carr.
I am an AFCA and a Past President of the Federation of Canadian Artistis, of which I am an Honourary Life Member. For the past several years, I have taught Watercolour, Oils and Acrylics.
My paintings are derived from frequent travels in Europe and Canada. I love bright colours, boats and scenery with water and reflections. I have paintings in private and corporate collections in Canada, USA, France, Austria, England, Australia, The Netherlands, Switzerland and Germany.
